Hardscape Educational Series Part 4 – Postponed

The upcoming Hardscape Educational Series for Cleaners and Sealers has been postponed until a date in August.

Watkins understands the need for our customers crew members to be on job sites. Recent weather conditions have limited the number of production days available and we don’t want our customers to worry about pulling production employees off of job sites.

Look for this program to be rescheduled in August.

AIA Continuing Education

The June presentation for architects in the Omaha area will cover Concrete Restoration and Repair and meets AIA requirements for 1hr HSW credit.  This presentation will describe the stresses leading to concrete deterioration and how to select the appropriate repair product and the proper techniques.

Enjoy a decorative planter presentation and put together your own planter on Wednesday, June 10!  Participants should bring an empty 18-24″ container and can fill it with soil and plants for $25.  Any container over 24″ will increase the price to $30.  Remember, you have to get it home!

The Divas of the Dirt will also put together 10 planters for the Habitat for Humanity 2015 Builders Blitz.  The planters will be delivered to them on Saturday, June 13 to 21st St. & Sprague St.  The group would also appreciate a $10 donation from any Diva who would like to help offset costs of the Habitat Planters.  You can give your donation to Lisa Lackovic.

Build Omaha Parade of Homes

boThe Build Omaha Parade of Homes is one of Omaha’s most anticipated events for building and new construction in the area!  Over 40 homes will be showcased by some of Omaha’s premiere custom builders from April 18-26.  Hours for the event are Saturday and Sunday noon-6 p.m. and weekdays 5-8 p.m.
