What are your hours?
We are open Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. We are open Saturdays 8:00 am to 11:30 am during warm weather months. Please call to verify Saturday schedule.

Where are you located?
We are conveniently located on the corner of Highway 50 and Giles Road. From I-80 we are 1 mile north of the Highway 50 exit. From Millard, we are 1 mile south of Q Street.

Where do I go when I get there?
For brick selections and landscape product assistance, enter our front door and turn left into the Showroom. One of our sales associates will assist you. For an immediate purchase, turn right to the sales counter. For contractor Warehouse sales, follow the signs to Door 4.

Do you have a showroom?
Yes. We have a large showroom with brick, stone, and landscape materials on display. Our showroom salespeople will be happy to assist you.

What methods of payment do you accept?
Cash, check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. If you would like to open an account, please fill out a credit application and fax it our credit department at 402/896-8611. Credit Application

How do I figure square footage?
Take the length and multiply it by the width to calculate square footage. For example, 10 feet x 12 feet = 120 square feet.

Can you help me estimate how much material I need?
Yes. We will estimate quantities for your retaining wall or patio. For block and brick estimates, we recommend you discuss your plans with a mason contractor.

Do you have a list of Contractors and Installers?
Yes. We have a list of commercial mason contractors, residential mason contractors and a list of landscape contractors for retaining walls and pavers. These contractors and installers are independent of Watkins Concrete Block Co. Watkins does not endorse or recommend these contractors.

Do you carry stone?
Yes. We carry a manufactured stone product called Eldorado Stone and two natural stone lines, Earthworks, and Fon du Lac..

How many different bricks do you have?
We have 40 different brick in stock. Many other brick are available by special order.

What is the coverage of a ton of rock?
One ton of river rock will cover 120 square feet, 2" deep.
Decorative Rock and Aggregates are available.

What is your return policy?
We will accept material in good condition with the original receipt. Material must be free of dirt and packaged in the way it was delivered or purchased.
We will pick up empty pallets that are neatly stacked no higher than 10 pallets per stack. Please place material near the street where our trucks can get to them.

What are your restock charges?

$85.00 per delivery.

Do you deliver outside of the Omaha area?
Yes, we deliver. Different delivery charges may apply depending on the distance that your project is located at. We also have affiliated block companies in Lincoln, Grand Island and Kearney that can assist.

What types of tools do you have?
Hammers, trowels, shovels, brushes, levels, wheelbarrows, caulk guns and more. Building materials

Do you carry any glass block?
We are a distributor of PC Glass Block. We have many shapes and sizes in stock. See our display in our showroom. Glass block

What kinds of landscape rock do you carry?
Nebraska River Rock, Brick Chips, Canyon Gold, Cherokee Rock, Dakota Granite, Pink Wyoming and Rainbow Rock. We carry landscape rock in bulk form only. We fill your truck then weigh the truck on our scale. You are welcome to shovel your own as well. Decorative Rock

How many sizes of retaining wall block do you have?
We have 4" Windsor and Border Stone block for borders and garden walls. We have 6" Diamond block for residential landscape walls. We have 8" Vertica Pro, Vertica and Diamond Pro for large commercial walls. Anchor Wall

What color does your retaining wall block come in?
Gray, Sahara, Brown, Charcoal and Brick Red.

I have white powdery stuff on my retaining block. What is it?
Efflorescence. This is a natural occurrence with concrete and clay products. It is a soluble salt that sometimes surfaces. A fluctuation in temperature or a source of moisture usually brings this out. It can be brushed or washed off with a cleaner. Most of the time it will go away with time.

Do you have seconds?
Sometimes. We prefer not to have any seconds but if we do, we sell them at a reduced price. First come, first serve only.

Do you fabricate rebar?
Yes we do. Please allow a few days for fabrication. Rebar

Do you have a cleaner for stains on my driveway?
We have several cleaners for concrete and masonry. Different stains require different cleaners. Contact a salesperson for assistance.

Do you have concrete repair product for my driveway?
Yes. It’s called Vinyl Concrete Patch and available at City Sales or Door 4.

Do you have caulk for the cracks in my driveway?
Sonneborn SL1 is a good product to use for this. It is available at City Sales or Door 4.
