Watkins Concrete Block Company, Inc. was incorporated in 1946, manufacturing only a handful of concrete block items. Today, Watkins is part of a network of block manufacturers throughout the state owned by NEBCO, Inc. of Lincoln. Watkins manufactures over 1300 concrete block items in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors for the construction industry.

Watkins is a distributor of clay face brick, manufactured and natural stone, glass block and many other residential and commercial construction products. Watkins also provides rebar fabrication on site. Products are displayed in the designer showroom at 14306 Giles Road which is open to the public and accepts major credit cards. A Contractor Sales area is located at Door 4.

The hardscape market has expanded Watkins product line with concrete and clay pavers and Anchor Wall Systems retaining wall block and natural landscape stone. Many other accessories are available for the do-it-yourselfer and the landscape contractor such as landscape rock, stepping stones and edging.

There is no question that Watkins has grown to accommodate the large commercial contractor as well as the homeowner with a small repair project. Watkins employs 75 people and has a fleet of over 30 trucks to deliver the job on time.
