eye with FORMBLOCK. Open-ended concrete block
are manufactured with webs that are formed to
accommodate horizontal reinforced steel. An inner
cell lip assures proper vertical reinforced steel
placement. Cores are then filled to meet specified
performance standards.

SPECIFICATION
CONSIDERATIONS
- All concrete block
shall comply with ASTM C90.
- Recommend grout or
concrete to be 2,000 psi minimum with
maximum size aggregate of 3/8" and
slump range of 7" to 10".
- Recommend grout to
be placed with "High Lift Method"
in compliance with ACI Building Code,
latest edition.
- Recommend Type "N"
mortar in compliance with ASTM C270, concave
struck joints.
- Recommend the
splicing or lapping of horizontal and
vertical steel reinforcing to be in compliance
with ACI-531 and the Uniform Building
Code. The tying of bar laps or splices
is not recommended with the use of formblock.
