Anchor Wall Systems Warranty

LIMITED WARRANTY. Anchor blocks are manufactured under license from Anchor Wall Systems, Inc.(AWS) according to minimum specifications set by AWS. These blocks are warranted by AWS to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of five (5) years from the date of sale by the manufacturer. This warranty extends to all persons in the chain of distribution from the manufacturer to and including the owner of the property where the blocks are first installed and is the only express warranty applicable to these products. No guarantee of color shades is made or implied. Minor imperfections in the shape, appearance or dimensions (e.g. minor portions of the rear lip missing) are not considered to be material manufacturing defects and are not covered by this warranty.

This warranty does not extend to blocks which have been damaged due to improper handling, improper wall design, improper installation, repeated or extended contact with chemicals such as deicers, or Acts of God.

WARRANTY SERVICE. All requests for warranty service should be directed to Anchor Wall Systems, Inc., attention: Warranty Service, 5959 Baker Road, Suite 390, Minneapolis, MN 55345. All claims must be made in writing within five years of the date of purchase and supported by photos or other evidence of the problem, together with the date and place of purchase, and the number of allegedly defective blocks and their purchase price. AWS will arrange to deliver to the purchaser, at no charge for the blocks or delivery, replacements for all defective blocks or, at the option of AWS, to refund the documented purchase price of the defective blocks. However, neither the manufacturer nor AWS shall have any obligation to remove the defective blocks or install the replacement blocks.

LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR USE, SHALL EXPIRE WITH THE TERM OF THIS WARRANTY. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL AWS OR THE MANUFACTURER BE RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, AND THEIR WARRANTY SHALL IN ALL INSTANCES BE LIMITED TO PROVIDING REPLACEMENTS FOR DEFECTIVE BLOCKS OR, AT THEIR OPTION, TO REFUND THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE DEFECTIVE BLOCKS. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

The limited warranty set forth in this document is the only express warranty (whether written or oral) applicable to Anchor products, and no one is authorized to modify or expand this written warranty.

NOTICE. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
